Like the past years, with your love and togetherness, we are initiating the celebration with various cultural competitions for all your beloved and talented children.

We invite you all to participate in these fun-filled events and also request you to encourage participation of your children / ward / students at the competition. Let us together make it a continued success and thus take a simple step to withhold Rich Culture, Art and Heritage.

On behalf of Vashi Cultural Association, we take pleasure to present you with the details of various competitions to be held under 'Sharodee - 2010' on the occasion of Durgotsav'2010.

A. Drawing Competition - Sunday, 5th Sept 10, 9.30 am, Venue- Tamil Sangam, Sec-9, Vashi

Group A	4 to 6 yrs	Colouring of the Picture (Object to provided on the Spot)
Group B	6+ to 9 yrs	Draw and color with crayons
Group C	9+ to 12 yrs	Draw and colour (Theme- Football game, Balloon seller selling balloons, Helping mother in the kitchen)
Group D	12+ to 16 yrs	Draw and Colour (Theme- India after 100 Years, Save Our Environment.)

Participants should bring their own colouring materials; Organizers will only provide drawing paper on the spot.

B. Singing Competition - 12th Sept 10 (Sunday) at 10 am, Venue- Tamil Sangam, Sec-9, Vashi

Group A	6 to 9 yrs	Any Rabindra Sangeet from 'Prakritee' parjay
Group B	9+ to 12 yrs	Any Rabindra Sangeet from 'Puja' parjay
Group C	12+ to 15 yrs	Any Rabindra Sangeet from 'Prem' parjay
Group D	15+ to 18 yrs	Any Rabindra Sangeet from 'Bichitra' parjay

C. Recitation Competition - 12th Sept 10 (Sunday) at 6.00 pm, Venue- Tamil Sangam, Sec -9, Vashi

Group A	4 to 6 yrs	Any poem from 'Khapchara' composed by Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore
Group B	6+ to 9 yrs	Any poem from 'Naibidya' composed by Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore
Group C	9+ to 12 yrs	Any poem from 'Shishu' composed by Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore
Group D	12+ to 16 yrs	Any poem from 'Chitra' composed by Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore
Group E	16+ and above	Any poem from classics of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore
